Rodrigue's
"Saga of the Acadians" are eighteen paintings
which traces the history of the Cajun people from their lives
in Nova Scotia to their eventual settlement in south Louisiana. The
paintings were commissioned by Lafayette residents Gerald and Betty
Defez and were completed between 1989 and 1993. The following
series of Fine Art Limited Edition Prints presents the opportunity to
possess a visual tribute to the life and struggles of the Cajun people
and a way of sharing the Cajun history with others.
